Tucked away in the leafy suburb of Canonbury, The Marquess Tavern offers traditional British fare in a beautiful Victorian listed setting. Both children and dogs are welcome.
Our dining room accommodates up to 50, the bar seats about 45 and our snug can fit about 8 guests. Parties over 15 persons may be required to pre-order their selections from a carefully designed set menu, but we'll let you know when you book.
Each year we are selected as the venue for wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events. Both the dining room and bar can be booked for your next event. We pride ourselves to catering to your every need - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Parties up to 12 people can be seated in our beautiful dining room and up to 20 in the pub itself. You can also reserve a table for up to 12 people in the snug
Parties over 10 may be required to pre order their selections from our set menu and we'll let you know when you book. Please refer to our terms and conditions regarding party bookings.
Children and doggies are welcome! Please make a note in your booking if you require a high chair.
We have simplified the bookings process at the Marquess which you can do 24 hours a day online.
Select the time and date you want, click "Search" and you will be whisked away to the Open Table website. If the time and/or date are not available you will be able to see at once. Add any special requests or comments and they will be acknowledged and logged with your booking. Once you have booked successfully you will get an email to confirm everything. Then all you have to do is turn up at our door, sit yourselves down and have a fabulous time!
